Job Description

We are seeking a Strategic Financial Leader to drive financial performance and provide expert financial advice across our organization. This role serves as a key link between the finance department and business units, offering insights to support strategic decision-making, budgeting, forecasting, and aligning financial goals with our objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Finance Business Partners to deliver comprehensive financial support to all business units.
  • Partner closely with senior leaders and executives to provide strategic financial insights, enabling sound decision-making.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring growth, profitability, and sustainability.
  • Support the GM Finance and Financial Planning and Analysis Manager in managing overall financial health of our business units, identifying risks, and leveraging opportunities.

Forecasting and Budgeting

  • Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting across our business units, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improving profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with the FPA Manager to provide relevant commentary and analysis of risks and opportunities through the Budget and forecasting process.
  • Lead the preparation of monthly BU financial reports, including variance analysis, and present insights to stakeholders.

Business Partnership & Advisory

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business unit leaders, providing financial analysis, guidance, and support to drive business performance.
  • Translate complex financial data into actionable insights, helping business units understand their financial performance and key drivers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial goals with business needs.

Process Improvement & Financial Controls

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across financial processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and insights.

Team Development & Mentorship

  • Foster a culture of high performance and continuous learning within the Finance Business Partner team.
  • Mentor and develop team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to support business goals.
  • Promote collaboration and knowledge-sharing across the finance team and the broader organization.

What You'll Need

  • Candidates should possess a CPA/Chartered Accountant qualification and minimum 8-10 years' experience.
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 is highly desirable.
  • A strong track record of working with large finance teams is essential.

Salary Range:$120,000 - $180,000 per annum depending on experience
