Job Summary:

The Australian War Memorial is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our eleven buildings and associated assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team in the development and implementation of facilities management strategies and policies.
  • Manage and administer building asset contracts, projects, and in-house timber workshop services.
  • Develop and implement a range of facility policies and procedures.
  • Manage heritage, energy, and environment efficiency programs.
  • Oversee the management of diverse teams and ensure outstanding team leadership and communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in facilities management, asset management, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective facilities management strategies.
  • Knowledge of building asset contracts, projects, and in-house timber workshop services.
  • Ability to manage heritage, energy, and environment efficiency programs.
