Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Food Service Assistant.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and providing exceptional customer service. As a Food Service Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality food and beverages to our valued customers.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist the chef and kitchen staff in preparing and serving food, while also maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to prescribed standards.
  • Assist with cleaning tasks as directed by the chef on duty.
  • Advise the chef on duty of any issues related to food preparation or service.
  • Participate in team meetings as required.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Passion for delivering great service and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good understanding of HACCP/food safety programs.
  • Cert III in Cookery or Hospitality (desirable).
  • Capacity to lift up to 20kg.
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical.
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check.
