Food Preparation Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Food Preparation Assistant to fulfill an integral role in our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service by delivering attentive and efficient food preparation.
  • Prepare food products according to established standards and procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen environment.
  • Communicate effectively with the Chef on duty regarding catering-related issues and needs.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with HACCP/food safety protocols.
  • Certification in Cookery or Hospitality (desired but not mandatory).
  • Capacity to lift up to 20kg.
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical examination.
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check.

The successful candidate will be required to work a varied shift schedule between 6am and 8pm, including weekends.
