The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering social connection, inclusion, and engagement services to support people who are isolated and/or experiencing mental health challenges to find meaningful connection within their local community.

This role requires a strong understanding of the importance of social inclusion and the ability to work collaboratively with individuals, families, and communities to achieve positive outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide support and guidance to individuals and families.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about promoting social inclusion and reducing social isolation, and who has a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver social connection, inclusion, and engagement services to support individuals and families
  • Work collaboratively with individuals, families, and communities to achieve positive outcomes
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide support and guidance to individuals and families
  • Develop and implement programs and services that promote social inclusion and reduce social isolation
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support the delivery of high-quality services

Requirements:

  • Cert IV in Peer Work (Mental Health or AOD) or Intentional Peer Support or less formal qualifications with specialized skills sufficient to perform at this level
  • Available to participate in out-of-hours activities as required to undertake the requirements of the role
  • Current valid Driver's License
  • Right to Work within Australia
  • Satisfactory National Police Records Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
