Forensic Investigator Role

Our organization seeks a highly skilled forensic investigator to join our team in Perth, Australia. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in helping organizations protect and restore their enterprise and financial reputation.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results and provide expert advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize advanced data analytics tools to generate insights and support fraud investigations, disputes, and regulatory compliance challenges for clients.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop forensic procedures, define measurable data metrics, and design investigative analysis.
  • Extract, validate, transform, and load high-volume structured and unstructured data from multiple sources for deeper analysis.
  • Develop algorithms, data mining, and data analytic solutions to assist clients with detection of fraud, bribery, and corruption.
  • Support senior team members in the preparation and presentation of client deliverables using visualization software.
Requirements:
  • Ability to communicate technical information in non-technical language and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to present data, conclusions, and recommendations clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation languages such as SQL and statistical techniques, as well as analytical and modeling tools like Alteryx, Python, R, or similar packages.
  • Ability to hypothesize, analyze, and draw conclusions from financial and operational data.
