Job Description

A qualified butcher is required to work in a busy family-run butchery. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop their skills and experience in the meat industry.

As a butcher, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting meat products for sale to customers. You will need to have a good understanding of meat production and handling procedures, as well as excellent customer service skills.

  • Neat and tidy working practices

  • Ability to work within a team
  • Motivation and good communication skills
  • Knowledge of value-added products (e.g. sausages, burgers)

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and hold relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 or higher in Meat Production and Processing.
