Perioperative Anaesthetic Nurse

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Perioperative Anaesthetic Nurses to join our team at Northern Beaches Hospital, operated by Healthscope.
The Interventional Suite is a state-of-the-art facility that accommodates adult and pediatric patients for planned and unplanned procedures and/or surgery. The suite comprises 14 operating theatres, including a hybrid theatre and a cardiothoracic theatre, as well as 2 Cardiac Catheter Labs, 4 Procedure Rooms, and a 41-bed Recovery Unit.
As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based nursing care, liaising with the multi-disciplinary team, ensuring patient and staff safety, and supervising and directing nursing team members to deliver patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
- Liaise with the medical team to ensure seamless patient care
- Supervise and direct nursing team members to deliver patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective patient care
Requirements:
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards)
- Working with Children check (if relevant)
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well independently and within a team
- Basic computer skills
