Role Overview
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Perioperative Anaesthetic Nurses to enhance our surgical services. The facility features advanced operating theatres and recovery units, catering to both adult and pediatric patients for various surgical procedures. The department operates throughout the week, ensuring continuous care and support for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based nursing care tailored to individual patient needs.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff.
- Supervise and mentor nursing team members, including Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing.
- Educate and support patients in managing their health recovery and rehabilitation.
Essential Qualifications:
- Current registration with the relevant nursing authority.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Perioperative Nursing (or in progress).
- Compliance with child safety regulations where applicable.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Adherence to national healthcare standards.
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications.
