Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to deliver innovative engineering solutions to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and instrumentation engineering, with experience in designing and implementing electrical distribution systems, motor control centers, and switchboards.

  • Relevant (7+ years) and current Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering experience is required
  • Design exposure to LV and HV distribution system design including motor control centers and switchboards is essential
  • RPEQ registration is mandatory
  • Experience in PTW and eTap is preferred but not essential
  • PLC and Remote IO control system design skills are desired
  • Material handling and process plant instrumentation design expertise is required
  • Exposure to Open pit and underground mining electrical infrastructure design is essential
  • HV and LV power system modeling and protection design skills are preferred
  • Experience working in the mining, oil and gas, water and infrastructure sectors is required
  • Ability to generate study reports, scopes of work, equipment specifications and datasheets is essential
  • Strong focus on safety in design is desirable
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects with conflicting deadlines is required
  • Ability to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to Verbrec and client standards is essential
