Clinical Team Leader - Critical Incident Response

The core of our organization revolves around enhancing the wellbeing of individuals in the workplace. As a Clinical Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in focusing on the clinical quality of Critical Incident Response and providing national support to consultants.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the wider clinical leadership team to achieve organizational and personal goals while respecting the needs and contributions of others.
  • Lead a team of Critical Incident clinicians, overseeing their performance and development.
  • Manage administrative tasks associated with supporting the Critical Incident program.
  • Conduct interviews and inductions, provide coaching, and ongoing mentoring of staff.
  • Monitor and engage with consultants to ensure engagement and quality assurance.
  • Assist with clinical escalations from individual consultants.
  • Support complaints management.
  • A billable component in Critical Incident response and according to business requirements.
  • Contribute to clinical projects.
  • Foster high performance through leadership principles of self-efficacy, accountability, care, and compassion.
About You:

You will be a registered Psychologist, Social Worker, or Counsellor with at least three years' experience in a supervisory role and at least five years' experience working within the organisational wellbeing industry.

  • Demonstrate proven people management experience, providing professional guidance in both technical and coach/mentoring settings.
  • Possess at least 5 years' experience delivering relevant workplace counselling services including critical incident response with an understanding of Psychological First Aid frameworks.
  • Show knowledge and experience in problem solving and counselling.
  • Demonstrate a proven ability to supervise, coach, influence, and mentor others.
  • Have experience in providing supervision, support, and guidance to consultants.
  • Show ability to build exemplary internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Show ability to view issues and problems from the perspectives of the business and the customer.
  • Show ability to manage own time, priorities, and workload.
  • Be available to travel as required.
