Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day coordination and support to a team of family violence and child wellbeing workers, ensuring that all incoming referrals are screened, assessed, triaged and responded to in a timely manner.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to make a meaningful contribution to the delivery of our services and to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
About This RoleThis role requires a high level of expertise in family violence and child wellbeing, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
You will have a minimum Bachelor level qualification in Social Work and recent employment in the family violence sector or equivalency met through the 7 Equivalency Principles.
You will also have experience in a leadership role, including providing supervision to staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day coordination and support to a team of family violence and child wellbeing workers
- Screen, assess, triage and respond to all incoming referrals in a timely manner
- Supervise and support a multidisciplinary team, including staff from other agencies
- Provide direction and support to staff to ensure the delivery of quality services
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A minimum Bachelor level qualification in Social Work
- Recent employment in the family violence sector or equivalency met through the 7 Equivalency Principles
- Experience in a leadership role, including providing supervision to staff
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- High level of expertise in family violence and child wellbeing
