Financial Crime Specialist for a High-Tech Law Firm

The role offers a competitive salary range of $130,000-$200,000 per annum, plus perks, making it an enviable career move for a lawyer looking to carve out a long-term career as a specialist in financial regulation/anti-fraud niche.
Job Description:- Represent blue-chip clients, including leading banks, non-bank lenders, superannuation and investment funds, global fund managers, sovereign wealth funds, and pension funds, in relation to AML/CTF Act, National Consumer Credit Protection Act, Banking Act, Banking Code of Practice, ePayments Code, and ASIC Act.
- Provide subject matter expertise to litigation and corporate/M&A teams in contentious regulatory/enforcement matters and financial services transactions.
Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 5-10 years post-admission experience as a Senior Associate, specifically in anti-money laundering/counter-terrorism finance/financial regulation, with solid knowledge and practical understanding of the Australian AML/CTF regime. They must have stand-out analytical, communication, people/relationship, and time management skills.
