Experienced Conveyor Technicians Required for Permanent Positions in WA

We are seeking skilled conveyor technicians to join our team in Western Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced professionals to take their careers to the next level.
About the RoleWe require experienced conveyor technicians and supervisors for permanent FIFO positions in Western Australia. The successful candidates will be responsible for belt splicing, repairs, maintenance, and installations of steel cord, fabric, solid woven, and ply belts.
- Belt splicing and repair: We need candidates with good knowledge of all forms of belt splicing and installations. Experience with steel cord is essential.
- Workplace safety: Our client requires a strong commitment to safety from the successful candidates. They must contribute towards the company's safety policies and report any incidents, hazards, or near misses.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in steel cord installation and a solid understanding of high integrity splicing procedures. A thorough knowledge of belt audits, hot and cold repairs, pulley lagging, and mechanical clips is also required.
Key Responsibilities:- Belt Splicing and Repairs: Perform high-quality belt splicing and repairs on steel cord, fabric, solid woven, and ply belts.
- Maintenance and Installations: Conduct regular maintenance tasks and install new belts as needed.
- Workplace Safety: Promote a safe working environment by adhering to company policies and reporting incidents or hazards.
- Team Management: Coordinate workflow, crew, and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
- Steel Cord Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in steel cord installation and repair.
- Safety Commitment: Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company policies.
- High Integrity Splicing: Understanding of high integrity splicing procedures and techniques.
- Belt Audits: Ability to conduct thorough belt audits and identify potential issues.
A competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, our client offers training and development opportunities to support career growth.
