About the Role

The Technologies Support Officer is a key position within our educational team, responsible for providing support to the Leader of Technologies in preparing resources and materials for classes. This role involves working collaboratively with teachers to ensure students receive optimal support during lessons.

This role requires a high level of discretion and judgment in selecting equipment, organizing work, and achieving outcomes within time constraints. The successful candidate will be an integral part of a team, requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills.

As the employee gains experience, they may be tasked with identifying, analyzing, and evaluating information from various sources. Working under limited supervision, the Technologies Support Officer reports directly to the Leader of Technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing support to the Leader of Technologies in preparing resources and materials for classes
  • Assisting students during lessons as directed by the Leader of Technologies or Technologies teachers
  • Selecting and utilizing equipment to complete designated tasks
  • Organizing work and achieving outcomes within time constraints
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must hold a Working with Children Blue Card and be fully supportive of the ethos of Catholic Education. A strong understanding of design, digital, and inquiry-based learning principles is also essential.
