Job Summary

The role of Safe Clerk is a vital component in the daily operations of our cash handling facility. This position involves ensuring accurate counting and balancing of cash, as well as reconciliation of banking for various departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Counting and balancing safe contents
  • Reconciliation of banking for Gaming, Bar, Catering, and other departments
  • Creation and maintenance of spreadsheets for daily banking
  • Providing cash and change requirements for outlets
  • Issuance of payment cheques
  • Liaison with Duty Managers, Supervisors, and Team Leaders for cash requirements
  • Entry of financial information into our system

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a keen eye for detail and data accuracy. Prior experience in a money-handling position is ideal, with skills in spreadsheet creation and maintenance, and proficiency in data-entry. Knowledge of banking sector or EFTPOS/ATM reconciliation is highly desirable.
