Job Title: Equipment Operations Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Equipment Operations Manager to join our team. This role is integral to the success and growth of our business and will play a leading role in delivery of our client projects and effectiveness of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Fleet Management:

- Oversee and manage all fleet and assets including owned and subcontracted equipment.
- Coordinating and scheduling maintenance and servicing of fleet, working in with project requirements to ensure utilisation of our fleet is maximised.

Operator Management:

- Primary point of contact for our Plant and Equipment Operators. This will include recruitment, onboarding, management and guidance of Operators across our projects.
- Coordination and management of Bajara's workshop/depot and relevant personnel.

Inventory Management and Budget Management:

- Inventory Management
- Budget Management and cost reporting.

Requirements:

- Applicant should hold mechanical and/or diesel fitter qualifications and experience. Alternatively, work experience equal to a mechanical qualification.
- Prior demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Relevant experience in operations management and implementation of systems and processes to drive business efficiency, reliability and outcomes
- Ability to work autonomously and use initiative
- Highly effective interpersonal skills to liaise with people at all levels
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Travel within Queensland and interstate is expected.
