Job Summary

About the Role

A highly skilled and experienced SOE and Application Packaging Engineer is required to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Windows 11 SOEs using MECM/SCCM & Intune (co-management and full cloud). You will lead hybrid and cloud-only Intune deployments, including Autopilot and Group Policy migration into Intune.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain Windows 11 SOEs using MECM/SCCM & Intune (co-management and full cloud).
  • Lead hybrid and cloud-only Intune deployments, including Autopilot and Group Policy migration into Intune.
  • Run pilot/ringed deployments; analyze telemetry; refine ESP and post-provisioning tasks.
  • Customize SOEs for business personas and VDI/AVD images (Nerdio Preferred - Not Mandatory).
  • Manage hardware evaluation, integration, and ongoing compatibility.
  • Engineer and administer Windows Update for Business policies and feature/update rings.
  • Airlock administration and management for secure application packaging and SOE processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in enterprise application packaging, with expertise in Windows 11 SOE lifecycle, MECM/SCCM, Intune, and endpoint management in hybrid and cloud environments. They will have a solid understanding of Airlock administration and secure packaging workflows, as well as experience with PowerShell automation for packaging, validation, and compliance health checks.

Additionally, they will have knowledge of Papercut administration and management (preferred), ServiceNow experience (preferred), and certifications such as MD-102 (Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) or AZ-140 (Configuring and Operating Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop). A security clearance is mandatory.

Preferred qualifications include experience in government/regulated environments (ISM/PSPF/E8 alignment), familiarity with Nerdio AVD management, and clear documentation skills, ITIL-aligned change/release processes, and strong stakeholder communication.
