We are seeking an experienced and skilled Enterprise Application Security Specialist to join our team in Sydney, Australia.

About the Role:

  • This position involves identifying, analyzing, and remediating vulnerabilities across our environment through code reviews, vulnerability scans, penetration testing, and risk analysis.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to triage security findings from multiple tools and implement security automation tools to improve the efficiency of our vulnerability management process.
  • As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for researching and identifying potential threats to ensure the organization remains secure and resilient against malicious attacks.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement security automation tools to enhance our vulnerability management process.
  • Triage security findings from multiple sources and collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate vulnerabilities within specified Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Conduct regular security assessments through code reviews, vulnerability scans, penetration testing, and risk analysis.
  • Research and identify potential threats to ensure the organization's security and resilience.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on application security.
  • Proven expertise in penetration testing, vulnerability management, and security assessment tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience with collaboration tools, including GitLab, DefectDojo, JIRA, Confluence, and proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Go, or Node.js.
  • Strong knowledge of security assessment tools and analytics platforms.
