Position Overview
As a result of the ongoing robust expansion of Auswide Bank's broker-home-loan sector, we are looking for a Lending Analyst to become part of our Loan Origination Services Team. Your primary role will be to facilitate a customer-focused connection between the Bank and its Loan Brokers.
This role is particularly suitable for recent graduates in finance eager to embark on a career in the financial sector, or for individuals aiming to advance their banking careers. If you are passionate about assisting individuals in achieving their home ownership goals, this position presents a remarkable opportunity.
Key Duties:
- Support broker-referred mortgage applications by ensuring a smooth and prompt progression through the entire lending process.
- Evaluate and confirm the financial documentation associated with Home Loan applications, including income verification, employment checks, credit assessments, and valuation orders.
- Address inquiries from Brokers and Business Relationship Managers regarding application and credit structuring.
- Oversee your own workflow of files as they navigate through the Loan Origination Service process, including monitoring procedures and managing the workflow of loan applications with internal and external stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
While prior experience in consumer lending is beneficial, it is not essential. We value your potential to enhance our brokers' experiences. Comprehensive training and support will be provided to equip you with the necessary tools for success. This is a high-volume environment that offers a clear pathway to rapidly acquire knowledge of the home loan process, from application through to settlement.
In addition to possessing strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills, you should also demonstrate:
- Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional communication abilities, along with a capacity to adapt to change and a high level of motivation.
- Experience in processing home loan applications (preferred but not mandatory) or relevant academic qualifications.
- A willingness to understand the Bank's Credit Policy and procedures related to Consumer Mortgage Lending.
- A commitment to personal growth and development within Auswide Bank.
