Job Title

Are you passionate about sustainable agriculture and making a positive impact in the Limestone Coast region?

Do you have experience engaging with land managers on climate-smart landscape initiatives?

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Sustainable Agriculture Facilitator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide extension services to the agricultural sector to improve knowledge and uptake of climate-smart practices.
  • Facilitate understanding of carbon and biodiversity markets.
  • Work closely with members of the Sustainable Landscapes team to deliver on the LC Landscape Board's priorities.
  • Engage with farmers, land managers, farming systems groups, agri-business, industry bodies, and agencies to promote sustainable farming outcomes.

Special Conditions:

  • Position is based in the Limestone Coast.
  • A current minimum class C driver's licence and willingness to drive are required.
  • Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory criminal history check.
  • Will have the opportunity to participate in fire management or associated duties.
  • Some out-of-hours work and intrastate travel involving overnight absences from home may be required.
  • Required to participate in the LC Landscape Board's Performance Development and Review Program.

Contract Details:

  • Full-time, term contract until 30 June 2028.
  • Remuneration: ASO5 $85,790 - $95,413 max p.a.
