About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Mercy Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled, individualized care to residents, adhering to Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) policies and guidelines.
  • Work closely with residents, families, and representatives to ensure their needs are met and their rights are respected.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a positive and compassionate approach to care, and promoting a collaborative team environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring residents receive the best possible care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Recognized tertiary qualification in nursing and current full registration with AHPRA.
  • Proven experience working in residential aged care, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges of this sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to care.
  • Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination, and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
