Your New RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team as a clinical expert in aged care. As a key member of our team, you will provide advanced nursing assessment, diagnosis, care, and intervention to Aged Care Residents within the scope of the Nurse Practitioner. You will work collaboratively with our medical team to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients' health concerns and promote a healthy lifestyle with a strong focus on preventative health care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-level clinical nursing, leadership, management, and governance to patients
- Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients' health concerns
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent illness
- Collaborate with the medical team to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to junior staff members
- Bachelor's Degree of Nursing
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner
- Advanced clinical experience in the assessment and treatment of illness and injury and health promotion relevant to the role and within individual scope of practice
- Demonstrated extensive professional and/or leadership experience
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and health regulating acts and legislative obligations
