CBGU JV is working on Queensland's largest infrastructure project, developing Cross River Rail, which will transform the way Queenslanders travel.

We bring together CPB Contractors, BAM, Ghella, and UGL to deliver the Tunnel and Station Package for Brisbane's Cross River Rail, a 10.2-kilometre rail line between Dutton Park and Bowen Hills, including 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD.

The project includes construction of four new underground stations at Roma Street, Albert Street, Boggo Road, and Woolloongabba, where the future upgraded Olympic stadium will stand.

As a member of our project team, you will be responsible for providing on-site engineering support to assist in the delivery of successful project outcomes for a large-scale underground station site.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring key construction requirements to ensure they are achieved in line with agreed specifications.
  • Managing work conducted on site by subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Implementing prompt and safe corrective action on site if required.
  • Maintaining all relevant project document control and records.

Requirements for this Role:

  • Recognised degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Demonstrated site experience coordinating subcontractors, preferably in a large-scale building or infrastructure project environment.
  • Ability to apply engineering principles to comply with scope of works and technical criteria.
  • Experienced in overseeing subcontractor safety, quality, and progress to achieve desired project outcomes.
