Are you a skilled construction professional looking for a challenging role?

We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to join our team at CPB Contractors Pty Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for managing possession night-time works, opening up public areas, and reinstating them by early morning with all controls in place ready for live traffic and public interface.

As a Construction Site Manager, you will effectively coordinate and supervise the utilization of all on-site resources for the project. This will include ensuring all workers are inducted onto site before commencing work, monitoring construction progress, and compliance to safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate and supervise the utilization of all on-site resources for the project
  2. Ensure all workers are inducted onto site before commencing work
  3. Monitor construction progress and compliance to safety and environmental standards
  4. Manage site security and material/plant deliveries and storage and general housekeeping
  5. Ensure all operations are performed in accordance with agreed safe methods of work
  6. Forward planning daily/weekly/monthly construction work including resource requirements and trade coordination
  7. Ensure subcontracts act safety and comply with safety requirements

Requirements

  1. Proven experience in a similar role in the Construction industry
  2. Experience managing self-performed works
  3. Experience on civil and stormwater works
  4. Demonstrated ability to work successfully and autonomously within a fast-paced project environment and deliver on deadlines
  5. Hold proven verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with an ability to develop and maintain relationships across diverse stakeholders
  6. Focus and commitment to a zero-harm environment
