At Total Construction, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for overseeing the implementation of site safety procedures and ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with our Project Safety Management Plan.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role. You'll be responsible for monitoring progress against the construction program, coordinating with trades, and managing and coaching staff to achieve project and personal goals.

We're looking for someone who is a strong leader, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You'll be responsible for mentoring staff, scheduling and coordinating site staff, and overseeing the quality of trade works to ensure the required standard is achieved.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the implementation of site safety procedures
  • Monitoring progress against the construction program
  • Coordinating with trades and managing and coaching staff
  • Mentoring staff and scheduling and coordinating site staff
  • Overseeing the quality of trade works

Requirements include:

  • Trade or tertiary qualification in Building, Construction or Engineering
  • Current Senior First Aid
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • High level ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Well-developed planning skills including industry knowledge regarding lead times for delivery and trade works
  • Strong leadership and management skills and the ability to motivate and develop teams and individuals
