About the Role

Our organization seeks a skilled professional to fill a key position in our supply chain management team.

We are looking for an individual with expertise in procurement and contract management, who can contribute to the development of strategies that strengthen our supply chain and deliver trusted advice to cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to align with organizational goals.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, engage with the market, manage risks, and plan ahead.
  • Owning the full procurement journey, from sourcing and tendering to supply chain management and contract oversight.
  • Leading proactive planning, spotting opportunities, and building trusted partnerships to support projects and create long-term value.

Requirements

  • Experience in procurement, delivering meaningful value and positive outcomes.
  • Strong commercial understanding, balancing big-picture thinking and careful attention to detail.
  • Skilled at engaging stakeholders, coordinating tenders, and supporting smooth contract delivery.
  • Naturally builds trust and fosters positive relationships across diverse teams and cultures.
  • Comfortable owning multiple procurement categories, encouraging innovation, and guiding change in a supportive way.
  • Plans ahead, considers potential risks, and nurtures team success through inclusive leadership.

Qualifications / Certifications & Skills

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Procurement, Commercial, or Supply Chain management (desired).
  • Membership of a procurement body (desired).
  • Technical or industry-related experience in the energy sector.
  • Strong customer service, negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of contract management methodologies and legislative requirements.
  • An understanding of market dynamics, commercial factors, and the macro-economic context.
