Senior Technical Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Technical Procurement Specialist to lead bid phase procurement and ensure technically sound and cost-effective proposals.

This role involves coordinating procurement planning, developing Make or Buy strategies, and managing the RfQ process across energy and resources projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive technical procurement program integrated with the Bid Study Program.
  • Analyze design development options to inform procurement decisions.
  • Foster consensus among internal stakeholders and joint venture partners on bid strategy.
  • Craft market package content aligned with project, contract, QHSE, and Global Supply Chain requirements.
  • Develop package lists based on Make Buy Strategy.
  • Design packages based on reference designs.
  • Specify market packages based on internal design specifications.
  • Liaise with Global Supply Chain for vendor technical queries.
  • Closing Phase of Bid Study:
  • Conduct a thorough technical review of received offers.
  • Liaise with Global Supply Chain on key priority outputs.
  • Handover offer recommendations to estimating.
Requirements:
  • A degree qualification or equivalent professional certification combined with significant practical experience in EPC projects.
  • A minimum 5+ years of experience in delivering energy, resources, or similar construction projects.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
