Securing Resources for the Club is a vital role that requires exceptional organizational and planning skills.

About the Job
  • This position plays a crucial part in generating revenue for the Club through various fundraising events, sponsorship development, and collaboration with other team members.

The Fundraising Coordinator will plan and execute fundraising events such as sausage sizzles, raffles, and can drives, ensuring accurate tracking of income raised. Additionally, they will identify and approach potential sponsors, maintain positive relationships, and develop sponsorship packages aligned with the Club's goals and offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fundraising:
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase fundraising efforts.
    • Manage logistics, volunteers, and promotional materials for each event.
    • Monitor and report on income raised, providing updates to the Committee.
  • Sponsorship Development:
    • Bid on new sponsorships and maintain existing ones, ensuring recognition and benefits are met.
    • Create and manage sponsorship packages, aligning them with the Club's objectives.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with the Committee to align fundraising efforts with Club priorities.
    • Communicate effectively with other team members to promote fundraising activities and acknowledge sponsors.
  • Relationships:
    • Reports to the Secretary and liaises with the President, Committee Members, and other stakeholders.

    • Able to manage tasks independently and as part of a team.
    • Highly organized, creative, and community-minded.
    • Approximately 2-4 hours per week commitment required.
