About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join RACQ's team as a Senior Business Analyst, supporting the delivery of the organization's strategic portfolio. As a key member of the team, you will provide business analysis and related services to projects, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the complete business analysis lifecycle for assigned projects, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and delivery of solutions.
  • Lead business analysis efforts on large projects, taking accountability for end-to-end outcomes and fostering a productive team environment.
  • Effectively engage business stakeholders and project teams to gather requirements, conduct analyses, and deliver solutions.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks and issues impacting business analysis deliverables, ensuring project success.
  • Implement rigorous review processes to maintain the highest standards of quality across all business analysis deliverables.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the business analysis capability roadmap, enhancing the overall business analysis competency.
  • Provide expert coaching and mentoring to junior business analysts, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Actively participate in the business analysis community of practice, sharing knowledge, collaborating with colleagues, and staying abreast of industry trends.
About You
  • Extensive experience as a senior business analyst or lead business analyst.
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary business and process analysis frameworks and methodologies.
  • High level of experience planning workshops and conducting sessions with large groups.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Process-oriented with sound judgment, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Well-honed coaching/mentoring skills.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and able to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
  • Passionate about the business analysis profession and eager to proactively help RACQ improve its business analysis practice.
