Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Melva McDonald Lodge in Rooty Hill. As a Casual RN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and vital signs monitoring
- Assess residents' needs and develop individualized care plans
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure the highest quality of care is provided
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records
Requirements:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Passion for aged care and a commitment to providing compassionate care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
