About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse at Anglicare, you will play a crucial role in promoting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.
About You:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Previous experience in aged care or similar healthcare settings (desirable)
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage complex care needs
- A genuine passion for working with older people and enhancing their quality of life
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Understanding of the importance of maintaining residents' dignity and independence
- Alignment with Anglicare's Christian ethos and values

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical care to residents, ensuring their health needs are met in accordance with care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individual care plans in collaboration with the care team
- Provide emotional support and build strong, trusting relationships with residents and their families
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with aged care standards and regulations
- Lead and mentor care staff to promote best practices in aged care
- Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a clean, safe environment for residents and staff
