Accounting Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial transactions.

About the Job

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong analytical and organizational skills. You will be responsible for reviewing and processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and communicating with vendors to resolve payment issues.

You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end closing processes, and contributing to process improvement initiatives to enhance departmental efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Invoice Processing: Review and process invoices for payment in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Vendor Communication: Communicate with vendors to resolve payment issues and ensure timely processing of invoices.
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or Finance Admin role.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to manage a high-volume workload, excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and experience working with accounting software.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
