About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Services Officer to join our IM&T Service Delivery team based in Adelaide. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support for our extensive computing fleet, including infrastructure, mobile devices, and video conferencing technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective technical support for Level 2/3 support requests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the development of continuous improvement strategies to enhance customer service and reduce lifecycle processes.
  • Install and configure desktop hardware, software, and peripherals in a network environment, adhering to prescribed frameworks.
  • Manage customer expectations for the resolution of outstanding incidents and service requests, providing timely updates on system downtime or interruptions.
  • Alert customers or business to potential or known problems affecting the quality of services provided.
  • Create and maintain process instructions and relevant documentation.
  • Work closely with the Hardware Asset Management team to ensure hardware and peripherals are managed in accordance with their lifecycle.
  • Complete Classified Technical Support duties as required.
  • Assist with projects as allocated.
About You
  • Demonstrated experience (at least 2-3 years) in a Level 2 or 3 IT Administrator/Support role, preferably in a large corporate networked environment.
  • Proven ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot with a focus on achieving objectives and ensuring effective outcomes.
  • Proven ability to support both hardware (laptop/desktop, mobility, and video conferencing) and software (MS operating systems and business applications) in a diverse corporate environment.
  • An IT-related Diploma, Microsoft Certification, or equivalent is preferred.
