Job Opportunity: Senior Delivery Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Delivery Manager to oversee the delivery of multiple projects within our organization. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to ensure project timelines are managed and dependencies are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to manage project delivery, ensuring adherence to best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) for multiple teams, promoting Agile principles and collaboration.
  • Identify, manage, and resolve impediments hindering team progress, ensuring timely project completion.
  • Effectively manage inter-team dependencies and timelines, maintaining transparency and alignment with stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, providing insights to stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of efficiency and predictability, promoting best practices in delivery management.
  • Support team empowerment, ensuring they have the resources needed to achieve their goals.
  • Develop and maintain delivery plans, ensuring governance is maintained.
  • Coach teams to identify areas for improvement, driving continuous growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Senior Iteration Manager or Delivery Manager role, managing portfolios or programs.
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and practical application.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, influencing diverse groups.
  • Ability to identify, manage, and resolve complex dependencies and impediments.
  • Proficient with Agile project management tools (JIRA, DevOps, MIRO).
  • Demonstrated experience driving changes and maturity around Agile delivery practices.
  • Relevant Agile certifications.
