Contaminated Land Specialist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Contaminated Land Consultant to lead our team in delivering contaminated land assessment and remediation projects with sound technical skills and a deep understanding of relevant legislation and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality project outcomes through effective collaboration with project delivery and technical specialists at local and national levels;
  • Draft comprehensive project reports/deliverables and provide coaching and mentorship to junior team members;
  • Manage multiple project teams or resources, including active office and field-based work, to ensure sustainable project outcomes;

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science or related fields;
  • Sound technical skills in contaminated land assessment and remediation projects, with a deep understanding of relevant legislation and guidelines;
  • Ability to think critically and question the status quo, navigating complex issues with ease;
  • Strong professional work ethic and commitment to health and safety protocols;
  • Excellent communication skills to present relevant information in a clear and concise manner.

A tertiary degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science, and 2+ years' experience in contaminated land consulting are highly desirable.
