Our client is a respected consultancy known for innovation, sustainability and technical expertise. We are seeking an experienced professional to join our contaminated land team.

The role involves delivering high-quality investigations, mentoring junior staff and contributing to meaningful environmental outcomes. You will be part of a supportive and respected team where you can apply and grow your technical expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate contaminated land and groundwater field programs.
  • Lead soil, groundwater and surface water sampling, including drilling supervision and monitoring well installation.
  • Deliver data gap assessments, site investigations and remediation strategies to a high technical standard.
  • Prepare and review technical reports in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to building technical capability within the team.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to deliver practical, value-adding outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety and environmental legislation.

Requirements

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or related discipline.
  • 5-10 years experience in contaminated land and/or groundwater investigations.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality technical reports and assessments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
