About the Role:

As a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee and perform maintenance and property support services. This full-time permanent role is responsible for ensuring all buildings, equipment, and grounds are maintained to the highest standards, in compliance with current regulations and quality standards.

  • Manage and perform both reactive and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of buildings, plant, equipment, furniture, fittings, grounds, and carparks.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with Aged Care Quality Standards and other relevant regulations.
  • Work closely with the Site Manager and the Area Manager to deliver maintenance services with minimal impact on residents and staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of asset acquisitions and disposals, and ensure the maintenance of site vehicles, plant, and machinery.
  • Manage and liaise with contractors, tradespersons, suppliers, and volunteers to ensure all work is completed to our standards.

About the Team:

BaptistCare Gimbawali Place Apartments comprises 162 one, two, and three-bedroom apartments for people over 55 and single-parent families who are still in the workforce. Panoramic views of Sydney, Parramatta, and Homebush can be enjoyed from some apartment balconies located on floors one, two, and three, while our ground floor apartments have an expansive outdoor area.

About You:

To be considered, you should have:

  • Experience in a maintenance supervisory role.
  • Trade qualifications (preferred).
  • Experience managing and working with contractors.
  • Strong knowledge of building maintenance, plant, and equipment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and great communication skills.
  • Commitment to upholding our values and standards.
  • Sound computer literacy in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience in CMMS preferred but not essential.
  • Police check and NSW Working with Children Check for paid employment purposes (essential).
