
Advanced Patient Care Specialist

As a highly skilled healthcare professional, you will work in the Endoscopy Procedure Suites at Sunshine Coast University Hospital and Nambour General Hospital. Your key role involves providing exceptional patient care and demonstrating clinical expertise in assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.

Your primary responsibilities include:
- Ensuring high-quality services by adhering to defined service standards, health, and safety policies, and procedures.
- Fulfilling your role according to Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) – State 2015 – Generic Level Statements Nurse Grade 5, and the Queensland Public Service values.
- Participating in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace and notifying relevant officers when concerns exist about workplace or patient safety.
- Practicing in accordance with the code of ethics, professional standards, and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within the scope of your position.
