The Reservation Sales Specialist is a key role in our team, responsible for selling the hotel and providing information to prospective guests. They work closely with our Sales & Marketing, Operations, and Finance Teams to ensure maximum guest satisfaction and delivering results according to agreed revenue strategies.

  1. Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, email, and online distribution platforms.
  2. Act as liaison between OTAs, Travel Agencies and the hotel in communicating and managing availability, pricing and room reservations.
  3. Handle reservations based on prevailing LQA/Forbes standards and deliver excellent service performance accordingly.

The ideal candidate will have hospitality or sales/marketing qualifications, experience in a similar role in the hospitality sector or in customer service capacity, knowledge of Property Management systems, excellent verbal and written skills, strong communication skills via phone, and valid working rights in Australia.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Hospitality or Sales/Marketing Qualifications: To perform this role effectively, you will need tertiary qualifications in hospitality or sales/marketing.

Experience in Hospitality Sector: You should have experience working in a similar role in the hospitality sector or in customer service capacity.

Property Management Systems: Knowledge of Property Management systems is essential for this role.
