Senior Tax Advisor

Drive growth and manage risk as a senior tax advisor.

  • Lead a diverse portfolio of clients, including ASX-listed companies, SMEs, trusts, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of income tax returns, BAS/IAS, FBT, and tax effect accounting.
  • Develop tailored tax planning and advisory strategies, including restructures, consolidations, international tax, and succession planning.
  • Provide strategic advice on tax risk management, compliance issues, and legislation changes.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, managing audits, rulings, and queries.

Requirements:

  • CA/CPA qualified with a degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Law.
  • 7+ years' experience in taxation within a reputable firm, with proven leadership or mentoring experience.
  • Strong technical expertise across income tax, FBT, CGT, Division 7A, and tax effect accounting.
  • Experience managing complex tax issues for both corporate and private clients.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical tax matters into clear advice.
  • Proficiency in tax and accounting software.
