Job Title: Multi-Skilled Mobile Plant Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Mobile Plant Operator to join our team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and safety-focused individual to operate a range of plant equipment within Brisbane City Council Resource Recovery Centres. As part of this role, you will be responsible for safely receiving and processing materials, participating in resource recovery, and engaging with customers in a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate plant equipment (yellow gear) within Brisbane City Council Resource Recovery Centres
  • Safely receive and process materials
  • Participate in resource recovery activities
  • Engage with customers in a professional manner
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Relevant licenses and tickets as well as experience operating dozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes and driving Heavy Vehicles
  • LF Forklift license advantageous
  • MC Heavy vehicle license preferred; HC license required as a minimum
  • Ability to work across multiple sites as directed
  • Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
  • Safety mindset
  • Willingness to undertake pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol test
