  • About You:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A PhD or equivalent higher research degree in a relevant academic field, along with other appropriate professional qualifications.
  • An international reputation as a leader in your discipline, supported by a strong research profile, including competitive research grants, high-quality publications, and recognition within the broader research community.
  • A distinguished record of supervising higher degree research students, demonstrated by successful student outcomes, impact on learning, recognition through awards or prizes, and innovation in supervision.
  • A wide network of established relationships with key academic, industry, and professional partners and stakeholders, which can be leveraged to enhance the profile of the Faculty and University.
  • Significant experience in people leadership and management within the higher education sector, with a demonstrated ability to supervise, mentor, and support others to succeed.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of key strategic issues facing the higher education and research sectors.
