The role of Finance Business Partner will play a pivotal part in supporting strategic decision-making and project success through financial insights, margin tracking, and commercial analysis.

Main Responsibilities
  • Preparation and analysis of financial statements, including end-of-month and end-of-financial-year processes.
  • Supporting project costing, revenue, and margin tracking across complex scopes.
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow projection for projects and business units.
  • Detailed project financial analysis and reporting to support business performance.
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register and customer relationship management system.
  • Building reports and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Monitoring financial key performance indicators and cost/revenue drivers across projects.
  • Supporting tender and bid processes with commercial insights.
  • Collaborating with operational teams to improve cost control.
  • Contributing to the ongoing improvement of financial systems and processes.
  • Providing commercial support on pricing strategies, subcontractor negotiations, and investment decisions.
  • Assisting with enterprise resource planning data accuracy and job costing systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of relevant finance or project accounting experience.
  • Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification (preferred but not essential).
  • Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, costing, and project-based environments.
  • Proficiency in Power BI and financial systems.
  • Familiarity with construction enterprise resource planning systems (preferred).
  • Ability to think quickly, work accurately, and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with non-financial stakeholders.
  • Highly organised with a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a broader commercial team.
