Expert Clinical Advisor

We are seeking a skilled clinical professional to provide expert advice and guidance in the specialty of stroke, rehabilitation, and falls prevention and management.

  • Develop and implement effective clinical services and leadership strategies for multidisciplinary teams, consumers, and partners.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to design and deliver education plans and resource materials for patients/clients and colleagues.
  • Work closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and families to enhance health outcomes and improve access to care.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives, practice development, and evidence-based practice projects.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and clients. As an Expert Clinical Advisor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical advice and guidance in the specialty of stroke, rehabilitation, and falls prevention and management.

  • 5 years full-time equivalent post-registration clinical experience, including 3 years' experience in the specialty.
  • Current authority to practise as a registered nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Proven communication, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced information technology skills to provide complex consultancy services and influence innovative clinical practice.
  • Able to lead quality improvement, practice development, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
