The Clinical Nurse Specialist will be responsible for providing expert nursing care and support to patients with sexual health needs.
This is a dynamic role that requires a high level of autonomy, critical thinking, and effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Provide high-quality patient education and counseling on sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and blood-borne viruses (BBVs).
- Develop and implement harm reduction strategies to prevent STIs and BBVs.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Advanced knowledge of sexual health and BBV prevention.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
