Leadership Role Overview

This role presents an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in Asia Pacific.

You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders in these regions to develop and implement a robust supply chain strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish strategic partnerships with stakeholders to formulate and execute a plan for developing a comprehensive supply base.
  • Oversee the performance of a high-performing team consisting of Procurement Managers, Procurement Leads, and Procurement Specialists.
  • Develop and implement sourcing plans that maximize the use of category suppliers and ensure uniform standards across vendors.
  • Ensure regional compliance with procurement processes and policies.
  • Provide the regional business and category procurement teams with concise, insightful, and relevant procurement data and KPIs to drive informed decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in professional procurement roles, preferably within multinational organizations, with experience in leadership positions (including people management).
  • Commercial acumen to lead complex contract negotiations, including the ability to act autonomously to achieve agreeable terms efficiently.
  • Proven track record of implementing procurement strategies and delivering value through associated sourcing activities, directly and through others.
  • Demonstrable understanding of key suppliers and supply market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
  • High levels of integrity and accountability.
