About this Role

Our surgical team is seeking a skilled veterinary nurse to provide high-quality patient care and support in our busy surgery department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surgery patient treatments and care
  • Patient recovery and monitoring
  • IV catheter placement and fluid therapy
  • Taking blood and using in-house lab equipment
  • Cleaning and autoclaving of surgical instruments and specialized surgical equipment
  • Specialist surgical and theatre nursing
  • Anesthesia
  • Radiology including CT & MRI imaging
Requirements
  • A relevant qualification such as Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing, with at least 3 years nursing experience
  • A passion for surgery and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Rx works / Smart flow is highly regarded but not essential
