About the Role

As a visionary leader, you will guide a dedicated team and regional leadership group, championing the voices of local communities across the Rockhampton Regional and Livingstone Shire Councils.

Job Description

This role offers an opportunity to shift entrenched systems, influence regional and national conversations, and support communities to design and deliver meaningful, place-based solutions. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to drive transformative change and create lasting impact for children and families.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead a high-performing team and regional leadership group
  2. Champion the voices of local communities and promote collective impact initiatives
  3. Develop and implement strategic plans to drive systemic change
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders to build strong relationships and influence regional and national conversations
Requirements
  • Minimum 5-10 years of relevant work experience, including 3 or more years enabling high performing teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Completion of a degree or qualification in Management, or similar, with relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills before multiple types of audiences
  • A collective impact mindset and the presence to inspire confidence, passion and accountability in both internal and external audiences
