At Latitude, we are dedicated to providing a safe and secure environment for our customers. As a Fraud Prevention Specialist - Vulnerable Customer Advocate, you will play a critical role in protecting our customers from scams and financial hardship.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our customers. With your expertise and passion for fraud prevention, you will work closely with our customer-facing teams to identify and mitigate potential scams, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible support.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in fraud prevention, investigation, or scam management. You will have a comprehensive understanding of scam types, particularly in the context of application fraud and online transactions. Your excellent communication skills and ability to provide empathetic support to vulnerable customers will be essential in this role.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including flexible work arrangements, education support, and a better giving program with charity partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough investigations into scam-related activities, analysing scam patterns and trends to proactively identify emerging threats
  • Work closely with customer-facing teams to provide empathetic support to vulnerable customers and develop customer-focused solutions
  • Develop and implement effective fraud prevention strategies to protect our customers from scams and financial hardship
  • Provide regular reports on scam activity, case outcomes, and insights for future risk mitigation
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years' experience in fraud prevention, investigation, or scam management
  • Comprehensive understanding of scam types, particularly in the context of application fraud and online transactions
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to provide empathetic support to vulnerable customers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential scams
